Fortune-telling pulls a card to ask what will happen. This table is a curriculum. Lay it face up. Look at a row (the same job in mind, body, spirit), or a pair (two cards that make a verb), or one picture until it is a melody. Fifteen minutes. Then one ordinary kindness. Close the pictures. To speak the hour and have it worked with you: the tarot sitting.

Sitting 1 · 3 min

Look at the 3×7 grid below until you can point: mind is thought, body is the vehicle, spirit is the long way home. Each row is the same job in those three rooms. Card 22 sits outside the grid — it is the exam every row serves.

Sitting 2 · 10–15 min

One row — the same job, three rooms

Start with Matrix (row 1). Look at Magician, Justice, Devil. Do not name symbols. Ask only: where am I unused? Then read the answer on this page. Close the pictures. One ordinary kindness.

Sitting 3 · 10–15 min

One pair — two cards that make a verb

After you have seen all seven rows once, sit with a pair. Empty with what fills it. What happened with what you made of it. The fork with the road after. You with The Choice. Ask: what is acting, and what is being acted upon?

Sitting 4 · 5 min

This hour

Name which row you are in today, and which pair. One sentence. Then do the kindness the row asks. That is the third stage Ra named: become it, and know when it helps.
