The eight densities

Densities are grades of light, not a caste. Harvest — the word people now call ascension — is a change of that grade, not a ride off the planet. Cycles are the classroom clock. You are in the third note, on a planet already wearing the fourth, and the vote is still this hour.

1. 1

   First density

   Being

   Billions of years — the longest sit.

   In plain words

   First density is stuff: rock, water, air, fire. Being, without a person yet. A stone is still God, just slower.

   Learns

   Awareness without a self that wants. Earth, wind, water, fire. The Creator learning to be a thing. A rock is not dumb stuff. It is intelligent infinity at a slower vibration, still knowing.

   Catalyst

   Heat, pressure, flow, stillness. No choice yet. The elements move because that is what light does at this grade.

   Graduates when

   When awareness begins to reach — toward warmth, toward nourishment — second density has begun. There is no exam. There is a leaning.

   God is. Before a world of persons, being is already complete. First density is that sentence without a speaker.

2. 2

   Second density

   Growth

   Long. Species-time, not biography-time.

   In plain words

   Second density is plants and animals. They reach toward light and food. Not yet a personal “I.”

   Learns

   Movement toward the light, toward food, toward the group of the species. Plants and animals. Awareness that reaches, but not yet a personal “I” that knows it is an I. The cell, the forest, the herd, the pet who has begun to love a human.

   Catalyst

   Survival of the species, bonding, the sun. Individual animals that love across the line — a dog, a great ape — are already leaning into third.

   Graduates when

   Self-awareness dawns. The being knows it knows. That is the door to third density, and it is given a group (yellow) body and a veil so the knowing can be chosen rather than assumed.

   The Course does not linger here. Growth without a self is still love. Your care of animals and ground is courtesy to this density, not something extra to collect.

3. 3

   Third density

   The Choice

   You are here

   About 75,000 years on a planet — three master cycles of about 25,000. The shortest density, because the veil makes it intense.

   In plain words

   This is you. You know you exist. You forgot you are God so that love or control would be a real vote. That vote is the whole class.

   Learns

   You are here. A mind that knows it is a mind, under a veil, choosing service-to-others or service-to-self. Self-awareness, other-selves, catalyst that feels personal. This is the only density whose primary work is polarization. Love or control. The fork is local and now.

   Catalyst

   Every life you call a life: family, work, body, death of others, money, sex, nation, the person who was unkind this morning. Unused, it becomes a grievance. Used, it becomes polarity.

   Graduates when

   Positive harvest: a mind whose thoughts and actions are of service to others roughly fifty-one percent of the time — enough to withstand fourth-density love. Negative harvest: roughly ninety-five percent service-to-self — a much harder, rarer grade. Mixed minds repeat third density, often on another planet. Information is not harvest. Kindness this hour is.

   Forgiveness is your function. The holy instant is harvest happening locally. The ego is the service-to-self habit. You do not need a date. You need the next choice.

4. 4

   Fourth density

   Love / understanding

   On the order of thirty million years.

   In plain words

   Fourth density is love as the air you breathe. Earth is already picking this up. Two classrooms: love, or control. They do not share a room.

   Learns

   Compassion as the air. Social memory begins — minds sharing experience without the thick veil. Heart (green) density. Earth is already receiving this light; the planet is in a birth. Two classrooms: a fourth density of love, and a fourth density of control. They do not mix.

   Catalyst

   Learning to love without wisdom yet — which can still distort (the well-meaning who will not tell the truth). For the negative path: learning to control more purely, which is its own suffering.

   Graduates when

   When love is ready for wisdom, or when control is ready for the cold light of fifth. You cannot skip this density by collecting indigo experiences in third. Green is the springboard. The heart, opened, is the physics.

   The real world is fourth-density as a perception: the world seen without attack. You visit it in the holy instant. You do not relocate to it as a pose.

5. 5

   Fifth density

   Light / wisdom

   On the order of fifty million years.

   In plain words

   Fifth is wisdom. Kindness without clarity still messes things up. Clarity without kindness is cold. The work is to marry them.

   Learns

   Wisdom. Light as a study. Love without wisdom still distorts; wisdom without love is cold. Fifth-density work is to marry them. Negative fifth exists — the adept of control, often solitary. Ra spoke of such a companion around the contact, without inviting you to hunt it.

   Catalyst

   The temptation to be right instead of kind. Clarity used as distance. On the negative path: isolation as power.

   Graduates when

   When wisdom will sit down with love and not use it. Sixth density will not accept a split. Polarities begin to be a problem that must be resolved.

   Knowledge, not perception. The Course’s later workbook is fifth-density as a flavor: less argument, more looking. Still not a caste you join by finishing a book.

6. 6

   Sixth density

   Unity

   On the order of seventy-five million years.

   In plain words

   Sixth is love and wisdom as one thing. The “higher self” people talk about lives here. Control cannot finish this grade.

   Learns

   Love and wisdom as one. The density of the higher self you will be — mid-sixth, looking back into your third-density life as a guide. Ra’s social memory complex is here, turning back to be of service. Negative polarity cannot continue through sixth; it must reverse and take up love, or it stops.

   Catalyst

   Service that is precise and warm. The last remnants of “I am the helper, you are the helped.” Even helping is still a slight split, and sixth heals it.

   Graduates when

   When the mind is ready to be gathered. Seventh is not a promotion. It is a returning.

   Holy Spirit ≈ this vantage speaking into the veil. The Voice for God is not a separate angel. It is you, later, and the One, now.

7. 7

   Seventh density

   Foreverness / gateway

   The closing of the octave — not a career.

   In plain words

   Seventh is going home. Not dying-as-nothing. Completing the scale so the next one can begin.

   Learns

   The density of foreverness. The readout of the whole being. Preparation to be taken up into intelligent infinity. Not annihilation. Homecoming. Very little is said, because very little can be said from here without distortion.

   Catalyst

   Almost none in the third-density sense. Completing.

   Graduates when

   The octave turns. What looks like an end is a new first density at another grade of the same One.

   Creation, not the world. Lesson 365: this holy instant would I give to You. Be You in charge. The last lesson and seventh density are one gesture.

8. 8

   The octave

   Intelligent infinity, again

   A turn of the spiral, not a year.

   In plain words

   The octave turns. There is no last throne and no last exile. The One starts another scale, finer.

   Learns

   The One, knowing Itself, again. A new first density of a finer creation. There is no final throne to occupy and no final exile to escape. The map is a circle that rises.

   Catalyst

   None that would make sense as a problem in ordinary life.

   Graduates when

   There is no outside to graduate into. There is the Creator.

   God is. You have not left. The Course begins and ends here, without needing eight notes to say it.

Mind, body, spirit — then a people

Ra does not say soul as a collectible. Ra says complex: several portions working together that are not yet simple. In third density you are a mind/body/spirit complex under a veil. After harvest, the next complexity is a social memory complex — a group whose learning is shared, because love (or control) has become the air.

Fourth density does not delete you. It joins you to others who made the same Choice. Telepathy is the speech of that bundle, not a hobby. Knowing the names is not graduation.

Harvest — what people call ascension

A change of vibration when polarity is sufficient. Not a rapture. Not a missed appointment. Not a light-body contest. A mind that can withstand the next density’s light — and a planet already wearing it.

The fork

Polarize is Ra’s word for third density’s exam. It does not mean becoming extreme. It means aiming the will, over and over, toward love or toward control, until the mind has a direction. You polarize in the next hour, with a real person — not by studying the fork. Mixed is a retake.

Adept names the same word as practice: what polarize means.

You cannot harvest as a clever mix. Specialness that uses Confederation language to feel above the room is already a vote. The test is the person in front of you.

Cycles

From this hour to a creation. The long clocks explain the season. They do not replace the vote.

1. This hour

   The micro-harvest

   Every choice is a small graduation. Polarization is not stored for the end of a 25,000-year master cycle. The Course’s holy instant is this clock. If you only study the long cycles, you will miss the only one you can vote in.

2. One incarnation

   Birth, catalyst, death, review

   You take a group-center (yellow) vehicle. You meet catalyst. You drop the vehicle. In time/space — the inner planes, not a physical elsewhere — the complex reviews the life, heals, and chooses the next configuration of lessons. This is not punishment. It is a student looking at the term. Healing between lives is real; so is the next body. The hurry to “get off the wheel” without loving on the wheel is ego.

3. About 25,000 years

   A master cycle

   Third density on a planet is built of three of these. Harvest is possible at the end of each. Earth’s first two master cycles harvested very few. Most minds continued. That is normal. A cycle ending is an opportunity, not an evacuation.

4. About 75,000 years

   The major cycle of third density

   Three master cycles make one major cycle — the ordinary length of third density on a given planet. At the end, the planet itself is ready to change grade. Minds that have not polarized enough continue third density on another world. The planet does not remain a 3D classroom indefinitely so that no one has to choose.

5. This planet

   Earth’s three cycles

   We are at the end of the third master cycle, which is also the end of the major cycle. That is why the contact spoke of harvest as a present season, and why fourth-density light is already interpenetrating. Previous third-density experiments in this local space — Mars, Maldek — are cautionary history, not a habit of collecting conspiracy stories. Use them to forgive the news, not to win at the news.

6. Millions of years

   A density’s duration

   Third is short on purpose: the veil makes it intense. Fourth, fifth, and sixth are long, slow refinements of love, then wisdom, then their unity. You will have time. The panic that you must finish the octave this decade is not spirituality. It is root (red) fear in a nicer shirt.

7. A creation

   The octave turns

   Eight densities, then the same note higher. Intelligent infinity knowing itself again. There is no outside. The map is a spiral. Seventh density’s “end” is a new first density. The Course says this without numbers: God is, and you have not left.

Earth’s three master cycles

About 25,000 years each. Three make the ~75,000-year major cycle of third density. We are at the end of the third, which is why the planet herself is changing grade.

1. Cycle 1

   First master cycle

   Harvest: A handful

   Third density on Earth begins. Self-awareness, veil, the Choice. Almost no one polarizes enough to leave. That is expected, not a failure of the Logos.

2. Cycle 2

   Second master cycle

   Harvest: Still few

   Another 25,000 years of catalyst. A larger handful harvests. Most continue. The Confederation visits; Orion also. Free will remains the first distortion.

3. Cycle 3

   Third master cycle — now

   Harvest: Planetary

   The end of the major cycle. Earth herself is moving into fourth-density light. This is the season the books call harvest. Dual-activated bodies. A loud planet. The work is still the person in front of you.
