How to move

Finding your way

This library is large on purpose. The way through it is small. Sit first. Then find the next page. Then live.

In plain words

If you remember four rooms, you will not get lost: Today is the sitting. Path is the map. Search finds a word in the books. The books are the complete Course and the complete Ra contact.

Today

Type the lesson you are on (1–365) and use it as Today. This device keeps it. Sign in also keeps it on other devices. Practice it as that lesson asks. That is the work.

Path

Eight steps in order so you do not skip the heart. Source, octave, the Course, the centers, Ra, the cards, the adept, then the human voices.

Search

A word across the sittings and the Course, like the Law of One archive: session.question, or chapter and lesson number, with the word marked. Choose Any match, Phrase, or Exact phrase.

The books

The complete Course and the complete Ra contact. Jump by number. Read. Then leave the book and live the hour.

The left column stays. The sitting is the wide column. Jump, Keys, and Settings sit at the foot of the left column.

Marks on the page

  • Marked word

A word like harvest carries a short meaning on hover.

  • Year meter

Outer ring / first bar: workbook days. Inner ring / second bar: 106 sittings.

  • On this page

A row of pills appears when a page has several headings. Tap one to skip down. It is not a second menu.

A heavy word is underlined. Rest on it for a short meaning. Click it for the glossary. The year meter fills as you mark complete.

What you are looking at

Two layouts. A phone is a column: a thin top bar, the sitting in the middle, five rooms along the bottom. A desk is two columns: a narrow left list that does not move, and a wide sitting on the right.

The type is large on purpose. Small capitals over a title name the room (the kicker). The title is the work of this page. Ordinary words sit in a short paragraph under it. A rounded rectangle with a faint edge is a card — one idea. A small pill is a skip, not a second teaching.

Jump

On a phone, Jump is the search icon in the top bar (a small magnifying glass). It is also the first row when you open the three lines. On a desk, Jump is the left of the three buttons at the foot of the left column (Jump, Keys, Settings).

Press it, or press / (Command-K on a Mac, Control-K on Windows). A panel opens in the middle of the screen. Type a name or a number. Examples: 78, Lesson 78, chapter 18, 86.7, chakras, Magician, harvest, tarot sitting. 78 is a lesson. chapter 18 is Text chapter 18.

Jump takes you to a page you already have in mind. It is not a list of every time the word appears — that is Search.

A complete book opens with a Go box: a long field, then a dark Go button. Under it, pills (rounded, one short label each) skip a band — a chapter, a review, a book. Under those, a number grid: many small squares, one per sitting or per lesson.

In the complete Course: type Lesson 78, chapter 18, or principle 1, then Go. A bare number (78) is a workbook lesson. Tap a chapter pill (Intro, 1–31) for the Text — chapter 18 is /text/18. Tap a day in the 1–365 grid.

In the complete Ra contact: type 86, or 86.7, then Go. Or tap a sitting in the 1–106 grid.

Inside a sitting: type 8 or q 8. The pills under Go are every question in that sitting. Contents (a line you can open) lists the first line of each question.

Previous and next

On a lesson, sitting, chapter, or card, the previous and next links sit at the top of the sitting and again at the bottom, as ordinary text: an arrow and the name.

On a keyboard: [ is previous, ] is next. You do not need to hold anything. Do not do this while typing in a box.

Hard words

A hard word is underlined with a faint line. Rest on it. A small bubble appears near the word with a short meaning. Click the word to open the glossary at that entry. A Back button (or B on the glossary page) returns you to the sentence you were on.

J and K move between marked words on the page. The marked word is a shade lighter.

Listen to a sitting

On a complete Ra sitting, the cassette sits in a card near the top: Play sitting, Previous, Next, then speed pills (0.5 through 2) and a slider. Each question block has its own Play on the right of the citation. Original wording is unchanged. Ordinary words sit under each paragraph; you can hide them.

While the tape plays, a bar sticks to the bottom of the screen — above the five phone buttons, or at the foot of a desk. It holds pause, a thin progress line, the citation, and − 1× + for speed.

Study notes for a sitting have Play along with the text, which opens the complete sitting ready to hear, and a link to L/L Research’s video of the same tape.

Progress

Mark complete is a button on the lesson or sitting, usually near the title. The year meter sits under Sanctum (desk) as three filling bars — today, the workbook year, the 106 sittings. On a phone it is two rings in the top bar: workbook outside, Ra inside. They fill as days and sittings are marked.

Reminders follow that lesson’s own clock — only if you turn the bell on, on the lesson card. Notes you write sit in a box under the sitting. They stay on this device. Sign in if you want them on more than one.

Offline

Settings is under Your work. “This device only” means Sanctum will not talk to the account, even if you are signed in. Journals, the lesson number, and marks already live here.

“Keep pages here” stores the rooms and the 106 sittings on this device so the books still open with no signal. Cassette clips and YouTube still need a connection. The living guide will use local notes when the network is gone.

Sign in only if you also want the same lesson and notes on another phone when you next have a network and sync is on.

If you feel lost

Open Today. Do today’s lesson. Use it on something that actually happened. The map can wait.

Do not collect sittings, chapters, and cards in one night. One sitting, then live, is the ethic of the contact and of this library.

What to type

In Jump, in Search, or in the Go box on a complete book. A bare number in the Course is a lesson. Say chapter when you want the Text.

  • 78

    Workbook Lesson 78

  • chapter 18

Text, The Passing of the Dream

  • principle 1

    The first miracle principle

  • 86

  • 86.7

  • chakras

Search: every sitting and page that holds the word

  • Magician

    Arcana card 1

  • tarot sitting

Speak the hour; work the 22, not a fortune

Keys (press ?) lists the keyboard. Today is still the sitting. If you are already in the year, type that lesson number on Today and choose Use as Today.

Thanks for the books, and who gathered this chapel, live on About— one page, not on every sitting.
