Workbook · Part I
Lesson 105
God's peace and joy are mine.
What this lesson is saying
Today’s idea is: “God's peace and joy are mine.” In ordinary English: Peace and joy are already yours. They are not a raise you have to earn.
Peace is treated as a prize after they change, after you win, after the picture improves. This lesson says peace is available instead of this — this spike, this news, this face. Happiness is not a mood you manufacture. Misery is not holiness.
You do not have to believe it first. You use the words on one real judgment — of someone, of yourself, of a situation — and then you take the next ordinary step.
This is not saying
This is not pretending you feel calm. You may still feel the wave. You stop waiting for the world to go first before you are allowed to rest.
Why this can change a day
If peace depends on them, they own your day. If peace is a way of looking, then a meeting, a kitchen, a text, and a self-judgment are all eligible. That is a different life, not a different philosophy.
In your day
Same idea, three ordinary places — a relationship or encounter, the case against yourself, and a situation at work or at home. You do not need a special mood.
With someone
You are collecting evidence. The world is a courtroom. Someone should pay.
What to do
Say the words as written: “God's peace and joy are mine.” Drop the wish that someone lose. If a fact must be stated — a bill, a boundary, a time — state only the fact.
Toward yourself
The day looks hostile before anything has happened. The painting is already up.
What to do
Say the words as written: “God's peace and joy are mine.” Your thoughts are painting the world, then showing it to you. Notice the loop. Stop treating the painting as God. Then look away and do the next kind thing.
At work, at home, or in a situation
Someone at work you have ranked as incompetent, in the way, or not trying.
What to do
Say the words as written: “God's peace and joy are mine.” Do the useful part of the work. Drop the claim that their job is to complete you. A fact can still be said. A ranking cannot.
Two voices in the same mind
Hear which one is running. Then today’s idea, on a real person — or on you.
Unloving thought
Sight is for winning. When I have enough proof I can rest. Vengeance is justice.
Jesus’s way
“God's peace and joy are mine.” Peace in this book is instead of this, not after this. If you want both, you want the war.

Jesus’s commentary for Lesson 105
Tina reads the official workbook lesson first. Then she channels. The video is the source. The notes below are study notes of that sitting — not a transcript, and not A Year of Forgiveness.
After the reading
In the video · Jesus speaking
This is the channeled portion — after Tina has read the lesson. Study notes of that sitting. Not a transcript.
- “God's peace and joy are mine.” Peace is not a truce and not a mood you fake.
- He would have you choose it when provoked, which is the only time it is a lesson.
- After Tina reads Lesson 105, the channeling is living “God's peace and joy are mine.” He will not let it stay a slogan. Use these words. Do not swap them for a thought you like better.
- Say it to the spike in front of you — not to a later, quieter day. The upset is a reading of a meaningless picture, not a report from God.
How to sit today
Part I · One Self
The idea is above. This is the one sitting this number asks — how often, how long, and the words. Not a second lesson.
- How often
- Five minutes of each hour — the first five minutes of the hour when you can
- How long
- Five minutes
- Through the day
- Repeat the idea between sittings so the hour is not a desert.
- If you forget
- Lesson 95 is the rule for lapses: omit as few as possible, and do not let a lapse become a story that you have failed.
How
- Lesson 105 continues the five-minutes-an-hour training of this stretch. Begin with the idea, close your eyes, and let related thoughts come or simply rest in the sentence.
- If an hour is missed, return at the next one. Do not throw the day away because part of it was forgotten.

This lesson is practice in polarizing with the person in front of you. Service to others is not a slogan. It is whether you treat them as the same being you are.
