Workbook · Part I
Lesson 80
Let me recognize my problems have been solved.
What this lesson is saying
Today’s idea is: “Let me recognize my problems have been solved.” In ordinary English: The problem is already solved in truth. Your job is to recognize that, not to rebuild it.
The idea is a sentence to use, not a theory to admire. It works where a story is running: a judgment of someone, a judgment of yourself, a belief that you are separate, an attack thought, a situation you have already decided about. Point the words there.
You do not have to believe it first. You use the words on one real judgment — of someone, of yourself, of a situation — and then you take the next ordinary step.
This is not saying
This is not a slogan for the day and not a request that you believe it first. Use it. Then take the next ordinary step — work, rest, a clear no, a kindness.
Why this can change a day
A spiritual idea that never touches a real person is how the ego stays in charge. Used on one encounter, it can undo a whole afternoon of ranking, defense, and self-attack.
In your day
Same idea, three ordinary places — a relationship or encounter, the case against yourself, and a situation at work or at home. You do not need a special mood.
With someone
The victim story is running — this is happening to me, I have no say, anyone would tell this.
What to do
Say the words as written: “Let me recognize my problems have been solved.” Same facts. Stop the telling for one hour. What would a non-victim do next — the honest no, the rest, the next useful step. Do that.
Toward yourself
You look at something you called ugly, annoying, or empty of God — and skip it.
What to do
Say the words as written: “Let me recognize my problems have been solved.” Say the idea to the thing you did not want to include. If you cannot feel it, say it anyway. The exception is the lesson.
At work, at home, or in a situation
The day looks hostile before anything has happened. The painting is already up.
What to do
Say the words as written: “Let me recognize my problems have been solved.” Your thoughts are painting the world, then showing it to you. Notice the loop. Stop treating the painting as God. Then look away and do the next kind thing.
Two voices in the same mind
Hear which one is running. Then today’s idea, on a real person — or on you.
Unloving thought
I am at the effect of them, the body, the news, the delay. The story is the truth of me.
Jesus’s way
“Let me recognize my problems have been solved.” Use it on the unloving thought that is actually running. He will send you back to the next person with it.

Jesus’s commentary for Lesson 80
Tina reads the official workbook lesson first. Then she channels. The video is the source. The notes below are study notes of that sitting — not a transcript, and not A Year of Forgiveness.
After the reading

- The solution is the mind that is not at war.
- He asks you to live from the solved side for a day and watch the ‘unsolved’ try to recruit you.
How to sit today
Part I · Function
The idea is above. This is the one sitting this number asks — how often, how long, and the words. Not a second lesson.
- How often
- Two longer sittings, plus as frequently as possible, plus any specific problem that arises
- How long
- Ten to fifteen minutes
- When shaken
- Say quickly, of the problem in front of you, that it has been solved.
How
- Claim the peace that comes when problem and answer have been brought together. Close your eyes and receive. Recognize that you are saved — not later.

This lesson is practice in polarizing with the person in front of you. Service to others is not a slogan. It is whether you treat them as the same being you are.
