Workbook · Part I
Lesson 91
Miracles are seen in light.
What this lesson is saying
Today’s idea is: “Miracles are seen in light.” In ordinary English: You see a miracle only in light — a mind willing to look without attack.
Most of us treat seeing as the eyes reporting facts. This lesson says the mind is already writing a story on top of the report — mine, dangerous, ugly, important, “that’s just who they are.” Two people can look at the same face and have two different days. If you can take the story off for a minute, you are not stuck with yesterday’s version of them, or of you.
You do not have to believe it first. You use the words on one real judgment — of someone, of yourself, of a situation — and then you take the next ordinary step.
This is not saying
This is not telling you to go blind, or that the room is fake, or that nothing matters. The table is there. The person is there. What you added — the verdict — is what the lesson is after.
Why this can change a day
If the first look is already a judgment, then every conversation, every meeting, every glance in a glass is already a trial. Taking the story off is how a different hour becomes possible without anyone else changing first.
In your day
Same idea, three ordinary places — a relationship or encounter, the case against yourself, and a situation at work or at home. You do not need a special mood.
With someone
You look at something you called ugly, annoying, or empty of God — and skip it.
What to do
Say the words as written: “Miracles are seen in light.” Say the idea to the thing you did not want to include. If you cannot feel it, say it anyway. The exception is the lesson.
Toward yourself
You notice you do not actually want to see — you want to be right. The day already feels decided.
What to do
Say the words as written: “Miracles are seen in light.” Determination is a decision, not a mood. Make it. Badly is allowed. Then look at one actual face or one actual thing.
At work, at home, or in a situation
A symptom, a doctor’s waiting room, a score you took as a verdict.
What to do
Say the words as written: “Miracles are seen in light.” See a practitioner if you need one. Then apply the idea to the story that this is who you are. Do both. Neglect is not the lesson.
Two voices in the same mind
Hear which one is running. Then today’s idea, on a real person — or on you.
Unloving thought
God is in sunsets and spiritual states. Not in this. Ranking what is holy is my job.
Jesus’s way
“Miracles are seen in light.” Use the idea on what the eyes actually have — including the face you already decided about. No exceptions for what you like or dislike.

Jesus’s commentary for Lesson 91
Tina reads the official workbook lesson first. Then she channels. The video is the source. The notes below are study notes of that sitting — not a transcript, and not A Year of Forgiveness.
After the reading
In the video · Jesus speaking
This is the channeled portion — after Tina has read the lesson. Study notes of that sitting. Not a transcript.
- After Tina reads Lesson 91, the channeling is living “Miracles are seen in light.” He will not let it stay a slogan. Use these words. Do not swap them for a thought you like better.
- He is unsentimental: you do not have to befriend them. You have to drop the exhibit so love can move. Gossip about them costs you the sitting.
How to sit today
Part I · One Self
The idea is above. This is the one sitting this number asks — how often, how long, and the words. Not a second lesson.
- How often
- Three longer sittings, plus five or six times an hour at reasonably regular intervals
- How long
- About ten minutes each longer sitting
- Through the day
- Five or six times an hour: miracles are seen in light. Meet temptation with the idea.
How
- Quiet time in which you try to leave weakness behind. Instruct yourself that you are not a body.
- Ask honestly: if you are not a body, what are you? Spend several minutes letting mistaken attributes be corrected.
- Relax for the rest of the sitting, confident that the strength of God supports even a meager effort.

“Miracles are seen in light.” Seeing here is a mind’s frequency, not better eyeballs. He is retraining perception so love can use it. Practice on what is actually in front of you, including the face you do not like. That is the whole method.

Love/light is the stuff of the octave. Seeing with God is not metaphor — it is a shift toward that spectrum. Meditation (session 10) is the daily tool.
