Walk through this chapter
Chapter 7. Each section of this chapter, in order. Ordinary words under a paragraph are the same teaching, said simply. The Text is the map. The day’s workbook lesson is still the walk. Official Text: acim.org.
The Kingdom is a mind, not a destination
The Kingdom is not a place you travel to. It is a mind that has stopped shutting people out. Joy is the Holy Spirit’s native mood when the mind stops excluding.
You are not going somewhere. You are ceasing to lock the door.
Projection versus extension
They look similar from outside: something leaves you. They are opposites. Projection says: my guilt is yours, so I am clean. Extension says: what is true in me is true in you, so we both have it.
Dumping is not sharing. Sharing does not make you empty.
The body as a means
The body is for communication — a means — not a god and not an enemy. Used to attack, it teaches frailty. Used to join, it becomes a way of peace.
You have a body so you can sit with someone. That is enough purpose for today.
To have, give
If you are hoarding insight, money, or love so you will not run out, you are in the opposite of the Kingdom. Give the thing you think is scarce. That is how you find it was not.
Scarcity is a way of seeing. Giving is how that seeing cracks.
Words in this chapter
The body
A communication device and a learning aid — not your identity and not your enemy. “I am not a body. I am free” is freedom from identification, not disgust. Care for it. Do not obey it as a god. Do not hate it as a proof you failed.
Spalding
Give it now, says Tina's Jesus, or you do not have it. Hoarding insight is the same as hoarding money.
Open streamRa
Extension is the law of the octave. Energy that does not move, stagnates. Heart (green) that does not serve, closes.
