Workbook · Part I
Lesson 103
God, being Love, is also happiness.
What this lesson is saying
Today’s idea is: “God, being Love, is also happiness.” In ordinary English: God is Love, so God is also happiness. Love is a practice on the person in front of you.
Peace is treated as a prize after they change, after you win, after the picture improves. This lesson says peace is available instead of this — this spike, this news, this face. Happiness is not a mood you manufacture. Misery is not holiness.
You do not have to believe it first. You use the words on one real judgment — of someone, of yourself, of a situation — and then you take the next ordinary step.
This is not saying
This is not pretending you feel calm. You may still feel the wave. You stop waiting for the world to go first before you are allowed to rest.
Why this can change a day
If peace depends on them, they own your day. If peace is a way of looking, then a meeting, a kitchen, a text, and a self-judgment are all eligible. That is a different life, not a different philosophy.
In your day
Same idea, three ordinary places — a relationship or encounter, the case against yourself, and a situation at work or at home. You do not need a special mood.
With someone
Someone cut you off, a line did not move, a tone in a shop — a fictitious anger.
What to do
Say the words as written: “God, being Love, is also happiness.” Name the official reason. Set it down. One breath without the story that they caused your aloneness. Then the next useful thing.
Toward yourself
An ex, an old friend, a name you still use as a wound.
What to do
Say the words as written: “God, being Love, is also happiness.” Remember the event if you must. Stop using it as the law of now. This person is not that hour. You do not have to call them.
At work, at home, or in a situation
You are kind in the room and cruel in the mind — a smile, and a case running underneath.
What to do
Say the words as written: “God, being Love, is also happiness.” You are not alone in the effects of your thoughts. Catch the case. Choose a different one. Then the smile can be true.
Two voices in the same mind
Hear which one is running. Then today’s idea, on a real person — or on you.
Unloving thought
Of course I am upset — look at them. Anyone would be. The anger proves I am right and alone.
Jesus’s way
“God, being Love, is also happiness.” Peace in this book is instead of this, not after this. If you want both, you want the war.

Jesus’s commentary for Lesson 103
Tina reads the official workbook lesson first. Then she channels. The video is the source. The notes below are study notes of that sitting — not a transcript, and not A Year of Forgiveness.
After the reading
In the video · Jesus speaking
This is the channeled portion — after Tina has read the lesson. Study notes of that sitting. Not a transcript.
- After Tina reads Lesson 103, the channeling is living “God, being Love, is also happiness.” He will not let it stay a slogan. Use these words. Do not swap them for a thought you like better.
- Use “God, being Love, is also happiness” on one actual person or situation today. A theory about “people” is a stall. Then do the next decent thing.
How to sit today
Part I · One Self
The idea is above. This is the one sitting this number asks — how often, how long, and the words. Not a second lesson.
- How often
- Five minutes of each hour — the first five minutes of the hour when you can
- How long
- Five minutes
- Through the day
- Repeat the idea between sittings so the hour is not a desert.
- If you forget
- Lesson 95 is the rule for lapses: omit as few as possible, and do not let a lapse become a story that you have failed.
How
- Lesson 103 continues the five-minutes-an-hour training of this stretch. Begin with the idea, close your eyes, and let related thoughts come or simply rest in the sentence.
- If an hour is missed, return at the next one. Do not throw the day away because part of it was forgotten.

Short notes from the four streams. The teaching above is the lesson. These are doors if you want them.

“God, being Love, is also happiness.” Love in this stream is a frequency and a practice, not a sentiment. It includes the body and whoever is in front of you. If the lesson made you feel holier than they are, you missed it.
Watch this lesson’s commentaryRa
This lesson is practice in polarizing with the person in front of you. Service to others is not a slogan. It is whether you treat them as the same being you are.
