A new beginning is available now
Whenever you want the Holy Spirit’s judgment instead of yours. Do not wait for January. The beginning is the next time you notice you were running the old judgment, and you ask again.
Rules for decision are a manual, not a mood.
Rules for decision
You do not know what anything is for. You want to be told. You let the Holy Spirit decide. Then you watch yourself take the decision back, and you give it again. That is the path.
Freedom of will is not the freedom to make a private world. It is the freedom to choose the Teacher.
Taking it back, giving it again
You will renege. The chapter expected that. A new interpretation is available in any instant — that is why the workbook can end by giving this moment, then the next.

In the next decision — small — admit you do not know what it is for. Ask. Wait a breath. Act from that asking. When you snatch it back, notice. Ask again.
That loop is the new beginning. It does not get more advanced than that.

Your real will is God’s. The ego’s “will” is a detour. You are not asked for perfect dedication at first — little willingness is enough. “There is no will but God’s” means conflict is a misunderstanding, not a second power.
Holy Spirit
The remaining communication link — the part of your mind that never believed the separation. Not a ghost in the room. The inner Teacher who translates the world you made into a classroom. When a lesson says “listen,” this is Who is being listened for. Stillness is the method; manufactured voices are the ego auditioning.
