Meaning
Potentiator means that which makes potent. For the mind this is the unconscious, the store of the archetypal, the knowing you do not speak yet. Ra treated this card as among the most important of the mind cycle: the Magician does not invent wisdom; he is reached. Prayer, dreams, the sudden right word, the Course’s Voice — these are Priestess. She sits between pillars because she is the veil: she both hides and admits. You do not storm her. You become quiet enough to be touched.
What the picture is doing
A seated woman, book or veil or water, between two pillars. Not a fortune-teller. A threshold. The reaching is from her toward the Magician, not from you toward a secret.

- Grapes on the mantle: fertility of the subconscious; potentiation is a protected activity (92.31–32).

Listening. Letting the deep mind feed the day. Holy Spirit as this function in Course clothes. You do not own her; you consent.
Service-to-self
Using intuition as a private oracle to win. “I just know” as a weapon. Closing the veil so only your preferred whispers get through.
How to sit
After looking at the Magician, look at this. Ask: what is trying to reach my will that I keep talking over? Wait. Do not manufacture a voice.
