Deeper meaning
Ra is blunt: it is the will that polarizes, not the pose of being pleasant. Fifty-one percent service-to-others is a serious, consistent aiming of the self at others’ welfare. Negative polarity requires a nearly pure will to dominate. Sitting on the fence is the planetary default — and a retake. The Course’s decision for God is this aiming. Lesson 20: I am determined to see. Determination is polarity’s mundane name.
Practice
Do one thing today that is clearly for another and costs you a convenience. Mean it.
