Egyptian deck · Death / Reaping — same card, different printed title

The vehicle changing grade. Not only the funeral. Every time a use of the body dies so another can live. Harvest can coincide with death. They are not the same event.

In plain words

This is not a funeral. It is the body agreeing the old chemistry is over. A change of use.

Plates from L/L Research’s Book IV study set: Arcana 1–7 redrawn to Ra’s corrections; 8–22 from George Fathman’s The Royal Road (Egyptian tarot). Not for fortune-telling. PDF · L/L Research

Meaning

Transformation of the Body is the end of a configuration of flesh-in-use: a habit, a sexuality, an illness identity, an actual dying. The skeleton rides because the structure was always bone — what animated it changes. Ra is unsentimental: death is the release of a group-center (yellow) vehicle; the complex continues in time/space, reviews, and takes another if the density is unfinished. The Course’s “there is no death” and this card meet without a séance. Fear of this card fills the Matrix of the Body with mud.

What the picture is doing

A rider, fallen figures, a rising sun sometimes. The point is change of use, not gore. If you only see horror, you are reading with root (red).

For every card: drop rim letters and stars. Astrology was later dressing. What to take off.

In a life

Quitting the thing that was eating you. Menopause, injury, sobriety, a move, the actual death of someone you love. Also the tiny deaths: going to bed, ending a shift. Practice on the tiny ones.

Service-to-others

Allowing a form to end so love can continue. Forgiveness of the body that will not last. Courtesy to the dying, including yourself someday.

Service-to-self

Using death as a threat. Clinging until the form is a prison. Or courting death as drama.

How to sit

Let one small form end today without a eulogy to your identity. A cup, a grudge, a plan. Then bless the room.

Speak this hour with this picture: tarot sitting.

Course

There is no death. I am as God created me. Lessons 163, 167, 337. The holy instant is a practice-death of the old mind, which the body then follows.

This pair · old use of the body ends + the mix becomes drinkable

What appetite or pose is actually finished — and what is the new mix?

Death is the body agreeing the old chemistry is over. Temperance (the Alchemist) is the new mix — not a diet religion, a usable peace in the flesh. Funerals are optional. The change of use is not.

Same job, three rooms · Transformation

An old way of using the room dies. Lovers: the mind takes a fork (love or control) — not a wedding. Death: the body agrees the old chemistry is over. Judgement: spirit gets up. Not drama. A change of use.
