Meaning
Transformation of the Mind is the moment the significator is no longer what it was. In this deck it is pictured as Lovers because the Choice feels like a joining — or a refusal to join. It is not primarily about a couple. It is about which use of mind you will now be: union or possession, forgiveness or the accusation. After this card, the Great Way of the Mind can run. Before it, the Chariot has nowhere to go.
What the picture is doing
Two figures, an angel or a blessing, sometimes a forked road. Read it as polarity, not as dating advice. The blessing is on the joining that is love, not on the special relationship that is hunger.
