Meaning
Bodies live in time. The Wheel is the turning of that time as it lands on tissue: a virus, a raise, a fall on ice, a pregnancy, a layoff that hits the stomach. You do not command this card. You meet it. Superstition is the attempt to become the axle. The Course’s world is this wheel plus the meaning you glue on. Ra’s harvest season is a planetary turn of this same wheel.
What the picture is doing
A wheel, rising and falling figures, sometimes a sphinx at the top. No one stays at the top. That is the teaching, not a threat.

In a life
A stomach bug. A good night’s sleep you did not earn. Traffic. Aging. A machine that broke. The line at work. Fortune is ordinary. Drama about fortune is unused group (yellow).
Service-to-others
Meet what lands. Use it. The body of another is on this wheel too — mercy follows.
Service-to-self
Gambling with other people’s bodies. Hoarding luck. Cruelty to the unlucky as if the Wheel were a verdict of worth.
How to sit
Name one bodily fortune today, pleasant or not, without a story of why you deserved it. Leave it unnamed as moral. That is catalyst.
