Meaning
Experience of the Body is what you made of the Wheel. Strength is the picture because the work is gentle dominion: the lion (appetite, rage, terror, lust, vitality) is not killed and not let eat the town. Service-to-others strength is friendship with the animal. Service-to-self strength is the animal as a tool of control, or the woman as a jailer of the lion. Shame is a failed version of this card. So is indulgence that calls itself honesty.
What the picture is doing
A figure closing a lion’s mouth, or resting a hand on its head. Infinity sometimes over the head. Softness doing what force cannot.
