Meaning
Significator of the Spirit is the spirit-complex itself — not the cave (Devil), not the night (Moon), the being that has always been light. The child is not naïveté. It is what remains when the tower has fallen and the moon has been walked. You do not achieve this card. You uncover it. The Course’s “I am as God created me” is this significator’s name. Pair it with The Fool or it becomes a spiritual identity, which is the Moon dressing as noon.
What the picture is doing
A sun, a child, sometimes a horse, sunflowers, a low wall. Direct light. If you feel you must earn it, you are still in the Moon.

In a life
Unselfconscious joy. Play. The hour you forgot to be a project. A face in sunlight. Also the danger: “I am an enlightened person.” The child does not say that.
Service-to-others
Shine without a sales pitch. Warmth as service. The elder brother as a sun, not as a brand.
Service-to-self
Charisma as control. The golden child who must be seen. Light used to blind.
