Deeper meaning
Ra is careful: disease may be unused catalyst, a teaching chosen before incarnation, a blockage in a center, or a random of the fragile vehicle. You are not asked to blame the sick. You are asked not to worship the symptom as identity and not to skip ordinary care. The Course’s chapter 10 (idols of sickness) is this. Healing of mind and medicine of the body can sit at the same table.
Practice
If something hurts, give it rest or help, then ask: what truth might this be defending me from? Both questions.
